Christmas Lights
Author Marion Dane Bauer
Illustrator Susan Mitchell
Publisher Little Simon

This short little book depicts the scenes of Christmas with brief rhyming text and cheerful illustrations. The real highlight of the book are the Christmas lights that twinkle through the holes on each heavy cardstock page. They light up caroler’s candles, lights from windows, Santa’s sleigh, a Christmas dinner table, and the family Christmas tree. The book comes complete with batteries, which can be replaced with three AG-13 button batteries. Christmas Lights is a clever way to use Christmas lights to bring sparkle to any child’s Christmas.
