How Big is God?
By Lisa Tawn Bergren
Illustrator Laura J. Bryant
HarperCollins Publishers

A little boy tells his mom that if God lives in his heart, “he must be very, very tiny.” The conversation between son and mom that follows shows that God can be in many places, some quite small, but also that he’s big enough to hold the universe in his hands. The gentle-hearted illustrations create an atmosphere of warmth in the knowledge that as the book says when we train our eyes to see God we will see him many places, but none quite so dear as in our own hearts.
