The Jungle Book
By Jim Weiss
Publisher Greathall Productions

Listening to Jim Weiss's The Jungle Book storytelling CD for an hour, you and your children will be transported into the world of Mowgli, Bagheera, Baloo, and Shere Khan. Rudyard Kipling's story of a little lost man cub, his adoption by wolves, and his life as a member of the jungle community will captivate listeners of all ages. You'll recognize the characters from the Walt Disney animated move, but this isn't Disney's The Jungle Book. Weiss renders his storytelling version straight from the master storyteller himself, Rudyard Kipling. When you start with the best of stories and embellish it with the bravura voice characterizations of Weiss, you have a sure winner. In fact, this CD has won the Parent's Choice Silver Award, is an American Library Association Notable Book, and INDIE finalist. Awards it more than earns.
