Toot & Puddle Let it Snow
By Holly Hobbie
Illustrator Holly Hobbie
Publisher Little, Brown Young Readers

Toot & Puddle lovers will welcome this latest addition to the series of picture books about two pigs who couldn't be more different but couldn't be better friends. In this story, each is working on making the very best Christmas present for their friend. Cousin Opal suggests a cuddly doll to each of them in turn. But Toot and Puddle know that the perfect gift is something their friend will enjoy and not something they would like. With that philosophy in mind, each creates the perfect gift for the other and both get Opal a cuddly doll, which is exactly what she wanted. The congenial watercolor illustrations perfectly capture the underlying love these friends feel for one another.
